Responsibilities:
-Helping to maintain a safe and healthy workplace on the floor and in the maintenance shop
-Follow lock out procedure
-Repair broken or defective machine parts
-Align equipment by using tools specific for type of equipment
-Disassemble and reassemble the parts using hand/power tools
-Inspect and examine machinery and equipment Install, troubleshoot, and adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
-Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling and drilling machines and grinders
-Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings
-Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery -Facility maintenance as needed
-Any other reasonable requests or tasks as asked by Management
-Temp to perm opportunity
-Qualifications:
-Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
-2+ years related experience in a manufacturing/automotive environment
-Hands-on experience with machinery
-Ability to work efficiently both independently and as a part of a team
-Work well under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
