Accounting Intern

Salary: Unpaid
 
Employment Term: In person
 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Recording AP invoices: ensure proper approvals and correct accounting treatment
  • Posting journal entries
  • Assisting with GL accounts reconciliations
  • Filing and maintaining documentation thoroughly and accurately
  • Assisting team members and managers when required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in general accounting (specifically AP) is an asset
  • Knowledge of Excel
  • Experienced with QuickBooks desktop or other accounting software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to work in the fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Self-starter able to work independently and as a part of a team
