DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Provide Technical support for client network, workstations, servers and printers etc.
• Manage Windows Server Active Directory and Exchange Server.
• Network management and administration.
• Light data cabling and infrastructure design.
• Hardware and software installation.
• General light office duties
• Assess customer requests and provide resolution in real-time when possible.
• Represent the company with excellent customer service, communication skills, professional, courteous, and highly service oriented.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client communications and problem resolution in ticketing system.
• Mediate communication between end-users and external suppliers (ISP, third party and proprietary software technicians).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• In order to qualify for this internship, you must be a University or College student in a co-op/internship program.
• Full knowledge of Microsoft operating system such as server 2003, XP, Windows 10 and ability to support such system.
• Experience in PHP-MySQL is an asset
• Knowledge of Joomla-Virtuemart and Salesforce is an asset
• Ability to perform detailed audits and reports.
• Hardware and software installation and configuration. General consulting skills and multitasking abilities. Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 and Exchange 2010 experience an asset.
• Experience with firewalls, managed switches, VPNs, VLANs, etc.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software and network connectivity issues in an end-user environment.
• Solid understanding of networking, operating systems, and Microsoft software.
• Setup and troubleshoot mobile devices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and decision-making skills.
• Effective listening, verbal and written communications skills.
• Be able to work in a team environment, while being self-motivated.
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner.
