Intern - Social Media Management at Kelly Kinetix Version 1.2
Duration: 6 months
Time allotment: 10-20 hours per week on Social Media Management, Meetings and other relevant activities
Scope and responsibilities
● Create weekly and daily social media posts across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn,
Pinterest)
○ Boost posts on social media by liking, sharing, and reposting content
○ Ensure social media represents the vision, mission, and brand of the company while still
incorporating individual style and creativity
● Ensure KellyKinetix has at least one class/workshop/event per week for clients to attend and
promote
● Support research team by providing feedback on reports and videos shared
● Develop ad campaigns to help increase brand exposure or meet new objective for campaigning
○ In collaboration with the Founder and other interns with similar background, lead social
media meetings and educational seminars about different aspects about social media
○ Ensures that social media is set up to deliver qualified leads
● Successful and timely updating of all information on profile pages when provided by the Founder
○ Keep the Founder accountable to finish updates and stay on the timeline set
○ Manage and update spreadsheet to record social media statistics
● Follow the current marketing checklist, and also revise the checklist in collaboration with the
owner where needed. Create a new checklist if none currently exists.
● Attend live or online marketing events to gain new knowledge and network as a representative
of KellyKinetix
● Support the Founder/Executive Assistant and communications intern (if we have one) to manage prospects from social media platforms
● Collaborate with the Founder to ensure new contacts and prospects are being managed in a
timely manner
● Write weekly emails in collaboration with the Founder to maintain engagement (not currently)
Weekly objectives
● Stay current on all company processes, changes, improvements
● Provide update on weekly accomplishments, challenges, next steps – regarding at least one area of responsibility
Daily objectives
● Organize, communicate, and plan weekly emails accordingly with the Founder
● Ad manager - update and watch for social media stats on accounts
● Attend scheduled meetings and come prepared with quality contribution
Work Process (to be completed by Intern as they go through processes)
● Preparation
o Be updated on all relevant company documents
o Receive assignment from Click up or weekly Zoom meeting
o Update tasks on Click-up (or other task journal)
● Production
o For weekly social media updates:
▪ Prepare and write weekly email blasts for clients: Weekly newsletter and weekly
tips (not currently)
▪ Update and collect pictures for potential posts with location tag on
▪ Manage and update post schedules and spreadsheet stats accordingly
▪ Ask questions and clarification, provide feedback, at any stage of process
▪ Schedule regular check-in calls with the Founder regarding assignment progress
▪ Create deliverable
▪ Submission
o Upload document to Google Drive, share with the Founder and team
o If necessary, present document at next meeting

ABOUT USTHE COMPANY
My company KellyKinetix was founded in January 2014. While working at a private gym, I was able to develop and gain crucial skills that make me the experienced trainer I am today. Eventually, I moved from working for others into making KellyKinetix my full-time gig. The company has continuously been evolving as I develop as a person. My phoenix tattoo and logo symbolize this point in my life where I rose out of the ashes and continue to rise!
At KellyKinetix we have two branches. KellyKinetix - Dance and KellyKinetix - Fitness. Though two separate entities, they work in tandem. I open my doors to beginners and those with minimal experience who find getting fit and healthy in a gym environment unappealing. People who want to learn dance for fun and fitness that have an open mind and can see how learning appropriate body awareness, strength, mobility, flexibility, postural alignment and correction can help them dance to any age they want. The main dance form I teach is bellydance. I offer in person 1-on-1 personal training and belly dance, 1-on-1 online personal training, group dance and fitness classes.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
This program was started in June 2020 and continues to develop. KellyKinetix provides people with a passion for both dance and/or fitness to be part of a dynamic company. The program is conducted, virtually, in-person and in hybrid format depending on your location and your needs. There are 2 terms starting each January and June.
