OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, your internship will focus on the daily operations of the front office and reservations department. This includes front desk, valet, bellman, reservations, concierge and sales.

 

  • Support Front office team with daily operations.
  • Welcome guests
  • Receive and process individual reservations (telephone, online, travel agents)
  • Process check-ins and check-outs, register transactions and meet all customer expectations.
  • Spend some time with the Sales department to understand how those two department have to work with each other
  • Spend some time with the Housekeeping department to understand how those two department have to work with each other
  • Special projects
  • Assist all guests as required while providing exceptional customer service
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures and standards.

 

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Excellent customer service: Approachable, pleasant, courteous, empathetic, fast acting
  • Able and enjoys working in a team environment as well as independently
  • Able to adapt to a changing environment and plan ahead
  • Good computer knowledge
  • English oral and written - French is an asset
