This is an hybrid position (both virtual and in-person).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content on social media (text, images, video, live reels) that builds meaningful connections and engage students.
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
  • Hosting live reels, webinars and engaging videos.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop social media campaigns.
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
  • Strengthen the School network by interacting with industry professionals and influencers via social media.
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign.
  • Ensure that marketing campaigns go live when they are expected to.
  • Answer student queries received through TLGC social media.
  • Research, plan, create and post social media posts, coordinating with our graphic designer, at least three times per week.
  • Research on contents and events.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Post-secondary education is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience within a fast-paced student-centered environment, the preferably private career college environment is an asset. 
  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese language.
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently and having responsibility as an individual.
  • Flexibility and outstanding customer service skills.
  • Experience in photography, video production and video graphics is an asset.
  • Knowledge of French language in an asset.
