BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE  

What you will do 

  • Prospect industry opportunities and develop new business pipelines for Red Canari 
  • Create and seek interest through various outreach methodologies including cold calling and attending events 
  • Connect and network with existing clients to prospect new and developing business opportunities as well as categorize and source brand new leads  
  • Participate in the proposal development end-to-end process,  evaluating requirements, organizing kick-off meetings, developing timelines with clearly defined accountabilities and deadlines, undertaking gap analyses, and independently developing strategies to mitigate risks identified, ensuring mandatory requirements are highlighted and met, and providing mock scoring on draft responses 
  • Work with internal stakeholders in identifying benefits and value-add for clients, a winning strategy, and key insights, leveraging our internal sales methodology to write, edit, and submit proposal documents that are focused and novel in both approach and creative execution 
  • Execute marketing strategy, co-marketing opportunities, track KPIs, content creation, content delivery on social media accounts, as well as collateral (articles, white papers, blogs, case studies, videos, online and offline campaigns)  
  • Collaborate with the Director, Marketing & Partnerships to determine priorities ensuring budget compliance and report on all campaign performance to leadership team 
  • Develop reports and presentations for webinars and client meetings externally and participate in internal brainstorming to share insights and recommendations in creative growth strategies  

 

Who you are 

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Business Development Representative or in a similar role  
  • Bachelor’s Degree or education in a relevant field 
  • Extensive experience prospecting and cold calling with large organizations with demonstrated accomplishments in meeting quota and revenue goals 
  • Previous experience in a cybersecurity environment or relevant industry preferred  
  • Strong capability to lead several projects and urgencies simultaneously with outstanding team building, mentoring, interpersonal and management skills 
  • Solid understanding of operations, and corporate networking to become an exceptional advocate for Red Canari 
  • Reliable and trustworthy for internal members, external clients, and all other stakeholders to deal with challenges and conflict in a professional and solution-focused manner 
  • Go getter, continuously learning, and quick to adapt in a rapidly growing business environment 

 Travel Requirements:  

  • Potential for travel to represent Red Canari at various events  
  • Must have ability to travel to the United States & Canada as required  

 

Security Clearance 

Fulfill requirements to apply for SECRET level II 

Eligibility for Security Clearance: Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
